Available Horses
There are many horses listed on this page. To learn more about a horse, select the picture or "learn more" link, and a new browser window containing specific information will open. "I'm interested in adopting a horse!" Please allow up to 7 days for your application to be processed and for someone to get in contact with you. If you do not get a response in 7 days, please contact USERL directly. USERL requires that all adopted horses be checked on a yearly basis. If the adopter does not live within a reasonable driving distance of a USERL volunteer capable of doing the check, it is the responsibility of the adopter to arrange for the check to be done by a licensed veterinarian that will report the outcome of the check to USERL. UPDATE: We now adopt horses to states outside of NC.
