 Neglect Report

USERL works very hard at fighting abuse and neglect, and our investigators try to assist Animal Control and Law Enforcement in any way possible. This includes investigation, education, transportation and housing, all at no cost to the county or state. It is best that you contact your local law enforcement or Animal Control if you feel there is an abuse or neglect issue, but if you do not feel comfortable doing so then you may fill out our abuse neglect form and it will be submitted to our Director of Investigations. Each abuse/neglect report is looked at carefully, and USERL will then contact the local law enforcement or Animal Control for that area. It is very important that you provide an address and good directions so that one of our investigators can locate the animals. PLEASE remember that all of our USERL Cruelty Investigators are volunteers. You will only be contacted if there is a question about the report. As much as we would like to contact each of you and let you know what we found, we simply do not have the time to do so. Please know that we check out each report and follow up on it, either through Animal Control or in conjunction with the local law enforcement. Our ultimate goal is the well-being of the horses.

Please contact webmaster@userl.org if you have any problems filling out this application.
